Don't Stand In The Way Of Getting Paid
Nothing frosts my cookies more than hearing stories of entrepreneurs doing great work for clients and customers...and then having to work twice as hard just to get paid for that work.

You do amazing work! And you deserve to be paid for it…on time.
We’ve all had it happen. We send off an invoice for a project, and hear crickets. The check is in the mail. The invoice got lost. There was a system glitch… true, sometimes things happen and we have to roll with it. But if you’re not following up with clients on the regular, you’re leaving money on the table.
Your Smiley Sessions Challenge for this week:
Get a system in place for how and when you’ll followup on unpaid invoices, and then stick to it. Find your own best way of saying “Hey there! Where’s my money?”
And remember - never apologize for asking to be paid for the work you’ve done. You earned it.
